Show us your Desire Homescreens...

Hi! I have a few questions regard to the homescreen.

1. How can I set different wallpaper for each homescreen?

2. How can i change the icons and i see some of you got really unique ones, where do u get them?

I am using an unrooted desire with sense UI. it is running Froyo and is unbranded.

Link to the background please? And also to the textual icons you have at the bottom, or did you make them yourself? Love the look you have set up. Oh and while you're here, what's the clock widget you have? Seen it before but can't for the life of me remember the name. Tajm maybe?

I have the quote widget already but what are the names of the ones you are using for the internal and external memory?

- Inform us what the tasks widget is on the bottom of the above screen?
 
Haha, it was one of those random finds which was just fit perfectly!

I've constantly tried playing around with the Agenda Widget app to replace the smooth calender and tasks, but can never get it looking right! I've seen some people get rid of the settings buttons and make it all look transparent, but it must not like me!

I use agenda widget to combine the calendar and Gtasks. It's a right pain in the arse to get it set up the way you want it, there's no question about that, but it works well once you figure out which of the myriad options does what.

can i just ask about a few of the things on your latest homescreens layout which is awesome btw

1. on "main +2" the icons you are using are really cool, i was just wondering the name of the pack? and i presume i can do all the rest via folderorganizer lite...

2. on "main +3" i've had the SD and internal usage widgets before but now i can't remember their names. can you refresh me please? :D

3. i keet seeing this widget in "main -1" and i'd like to know what is it?

4. also on a non rooted device can i change my font?

5. your top bar is looking good. i presume the number in the battery is how much left? how did you get that?

sorry for all the questions im just intrigued and want stuff :)

asking questions is what this thread is about :p

1: they are nextang icons, i can't remember the link where i got them, but check google, they are around somewhere

2: internal memory widget and sd card memory widget

3: twicca

4: nopes!

5: yep, can only be done via root. the theme i made ;)

Just a quick question on the dock icons, they look kinda standard for LauncherPro.... but not 100% standard :p - have you modified them? Are you able to provide a link/more info?
 
One more question...

How are people managing to have icons on their homescreen with NO text?

E.G.

I have Folder Organiser installed, but can't seem to find an option to display an icon [representing a LABEL - i.e. so a mini folder pops up when this icon is selected] with no text, can someone help?

Long press home screen, select widget / FolderOrganizer label, untick box which says "show text under icon", choose the label you want.

The process to add a link to an app is similar except you choose Widget / FolderOrganizer item / Apps.

I can follow all of your steps but for the tick. There is no tick on mine...:confused:

After I select Widget --> FolderOrganizer Label, I am presented with a list of all my labels. There is no check box in sight. Where are you seeing that?

EDIT: Just a thought, maybe I need to update my version, it could be out of date...

The tick box should be right at the top of the list of your labels. If you don't have it then you probably do need to update to the latest version. You may also need to reboot your phone for the widget list to update.
