Yeah, its a proper clock. The date doesn't do anything, nor do the chronograph dials, but the main Hours and Minutes works accurately.

My Desire arrives tomorrow, and the first thing I'll be doing is sexing up the screens. The most important one for me will be the practical one. Something similar to what I've seen here with memory tracking, web allowance tracker, on/off switches for GPS, Bluetooth etc., battery/temp. monitor, vibrate and silent switches and the like.

Any advice on good apps for those?

downloaded the pack with these icons in, that you linked too. but theres a lot i can't find in any of the files. all except the globe on the bottom, the facebook icon. any help?

Hi all, Great thread by the way!

Excuse my apparent ignorance, but I know how to change the icons for Launcher Pro buttons, but how do I change them for regular apps like facebook and twitter???

apologies for not reading every post in this thread and therefore missing the answer!

EDIT: After a quick skim over the entire thread, it appears Bettercut enables icon changing... Is this correct??

you can also use Folder organizer lite FolderOrganizer lite - Android app on AppBrain which i think most people are using to do this there is a step by step somewhere in the thread.

Basically what i do if i want to change a single app is:

FolderOrganizerLite > Apps > (choose app) > icon > andriod image gallery > gallery (or astro) > navigate to icon i want

Long press home screen > widget > folderorgainzer item > apps > (untick show text) > then select app

You can also group icons then app the group to the home screen as a widget and it will open a popup with all the apps in it

Sky News widget is on the Market in the UK. There's a new Sky Sports News widget for iPhone/iPad out this week but it's not on Android yet.

You can make LauncherPro your default homescreen and change the Home button action within Preferences (Menu > Preferences > Behavior Settings > Home key action and Home key default screen)

There are 15 available dock icons (5 on display, swipe left/right to show the others). These can be set as shortcuts or removed to show empty space. The dock icons scroll independently of the main homescreens.

i have one last question about this as i have everything pretty much how i want it now apart from this.

how do you change the icons of folders? for example i have a folder full of games, stuck with the standard boring folder icon.
i can't figure it out atall
i'm using folder organizer lite if that helps
