Show us your Desire Homescreens...

Sorry to be a noob but I'm very new to my Desire and I'm not sure what I can and cant do with it without upgrading to "Froyo" or another firmware??

I've read about Launcher Pro and wondered what exactly it does and can I use it to get some of the setups in this thread??

Sorry if this isnt the place to ask, just point me in the right direction!

Thanks....

SteveP

Launcher pro is an alternative User interface to HTC Sense. Some (or many) or the layouts in this thread use luancherpro or ADW Launcher instead of sense. It basically replaces the home screens, app drawer, dock etc with an alternative.

You don't need to delete sense. It will just be used instead of it. You can switch between the 2.

You don't need launcher pro as quite a few themes on this thread are done with Sense by changing wallpapers & downloading widgets.

Launcher pro lets you change the dock buttons (the buttons along the bottom) & hide the notification bar & an app called widget locker lets you customize your lock screen

Hope this helps

Thanks guys - I'll have a mess around with it then if its easily fixed if I screw something up! :D

Cheers,

SteveP

No problem. If you're still on 2.1 download homeswitcher which will allow you easily to swap launchers and set defaults.

finally got round to start my homescreens

not rooted so.... poor webcam shots, only made 3 screens sofar need to get some widgets to match my theme

Gearfield.

What's those messenger, and Calenger widgets? Are they the ones that come with LauncherPro Plus? Is so does the Calenger link with Google Calenders, or just the internal stock one?

Looks sweet.

Well I don't know who this "Gearfield" is, so i'll assume those questions were directed at me.

I'm using LauncherPro for my dock, found most of the icons online somewhere. And the SMS and calandar widgets are standard LauncherPro ones. It does sync with Google.

Hey Gearfried, seems like you are using a custom dock, would you be kind enough to upload the image of the dock?

Thanks,
Roze
