Show us your Desire Homescreens...

Launcher pro for the dock and the custom icons.
SwitchPro for the wifi icons etc (Customized to my liking)
Tajm for the clock.

Simples but effective. :D

You need to be rooted to take screenshots, using an app called shootme. If you don't want to root you can still do it, but its rather drawn out, guide here How To Capture Screenshots With Your Android Mobile Phone

I spent about 3 hours reading this thread (only up to about p14 of 41) and i was looking specifically for this info!! I can finally go to bed, and read more tomorrow....!! Thanks DesireMe.

(apols that this post is going to appear 30 pages after your orig posting...!) but wanted to get this excellent app/widget in again, in case it's another 30 pages since it was last mentioned...!!
 
Spent most of the day messing around with various ROMs. Finally settled on Cyanogen with LauncherPro. I still can't help thinking that I will go back to sense. Maybe I will feel different after a good nights sleep :)

I wish I was even remotely creative like some of them on here...but meh, this will do for now :o

I don't doubt this will change again soon. I'm on the hunt for a smaller and equally as good Bookmarks, so some widgets & shortcuts can go underneath, all internet related.

I'm also not sure about the BBC News RSS Feed.

I'd like a phone usage widget like the memory & battery one to show: SMS Sent, Mins Used & Data Used, to replace just the data one.

1)HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE THIS STOCK CALENDER WIDGET WHILE USING LP?
2)WHAT IS THE WIDGET USED BELOW THE POWER CONTROL WIDGET AND ALSO THE BLUE LIGHT INSTEAD OF THE STOCK, ON ACTIVATING THESE CONTROLS. DOES IT NEED ROOTING?
3)WHAT IS THE MSGING WIDGET USED IN THE SECOND PIC.
4)THE KEYPAD SHOWN IN THE LAST PIC WITH RED HIGHLIGHTS. WHICH ONE IS THAT?

1) its not the stock calendar widget, launcherpro plus Calendar widget. You cannot use sense widgets in LP

2)they both look like they are "Extended controls"

4) google "gimpsta high res kitchen"

Tip for you, menu>Settings>Cyanogenmod settings>User interface>Notification colours.

Look for cutom pulldown bar and custom notification bar. Change the colour of the notification and status bar to anything you want. ;)

As danfrance said

1) Launcher Pro Plus comes with a series of it's own Sense'esque widgets

2) Not extended controls, this is one that comes with Cyanogen and is called "Power Control". You can tailor what is shown...I chose to use the widget twice. The blue light is what it comes with

3) Again, this came with Launcher Pro

4) danfrance is right again, I created my own using Gimpstas hi res kitchen. (HTC IME Mod v27)


Thanks for the tip danfrance...not quite sure why I managed to completely skip over that section of the settings...but I have a nicely coloured notification bar and pulldown now :)

Loving the LFC keyboard. Although i'm almost too ashamed to say I support them this season lol
