No problem. That one has 3 settings. Normal, vibrate and silent. So you can choose how you want your phone. Should do exactly want your need.

thats a modded notification bar available for rooted phones. it isn't actually a mod, its the default abttery indicator. search market for battery indicator for somethin similar

I think I'm just jelous of everyones homescreens and what they have on them...and also very impatient.
I've learnt to turn off GPS, Bluetooth, Wifi etc and low brightness to keep battery life extended.
I have a task killer, but now I think I need to get rid of it...apart from that Im lost!
Here's my screens before I rooted. Once I get my Froyo setup done, I'll repost

When you are adding the widget, there are 2 choices. The default is full page. Press the right arrow and it changes to the thinner one.

I've only had my Desire for about a week or so, but I'm (usually) a tech savvy bloke so I thought "I've got my phone set up just right" - then I looked at some of the pics in this thread! Thanks to everyone that posted pics, because I was kind of in the mindset of just adding app shortcuts to screens like adding shortcuts on a Windows desktop and I wasn't making use of some of the great widgets that are out there.

Btw, does anyone know any fullscreen widgets that I can cover my last homescreen with? It's empty currently. I had a look through some of the pages of this thread, but didn't come across anything I didn't already have, which are:
- calendar
- photos
- bookmarks
- tasks
- colornote
- music
- toggles

Eeeek! I've delete the Favourites widget to set up again but now I can't find it again. It was already installed when I got the Desire a fortnight ago so I didn't play around with it at the time.
How do I find it/get it back please?
Its under "people" you have to select the favourites group after creating the widget.

Question: I want to use LauncherPro but when I'm on it, I cant get all the widgets that I can normally, is there a reason for this? I like the Weather Widget that is default and its not available when I use LauncherPro

If you use another launcher, you will not have access to the HTC widgets.

Don't know if you've been on the LP website, but there's a new version call 'LauncherPro Plus' that the Dev said will have Sense like widgets included. At the moment he only has the People widget but the other Sense widgets will be added on. So if you're into that, he's selling it for an introductory price of $2.99
