Slightly off-topic but begging your indulgence. I had my Desire set up as I wanted, nothing too fancy except a lovely live wallpaper and some widgets. A complete freeze meant a trip to HTC and a complete wipe, losing everything 
. I'm trying to get back to where I was but is there a way to back up scenes, widgets etc to sd card or pc? Many thanks

Only if you have a rooted phone. You could then do a Nandroid backup so when you restore its exactly how it was when you backed up.
One of the best reasons for rooting, saves so much work

hiya, lovely background :] what clock are you using? i think i'm using the same one but i can't seem to edit it so it doesn't say pm. unless that is, you're on 24hr time... hrm..
AND
how are you guys getting alarm time/reminders and single agenda reminders on your lick screen? i'd like to have my alarm reminder on mine. i saw it in a guys previous post, but i can't find it now to ask him.

Its WidgetLocker from the market. It replaces your lockscreen and lets you customise the wallpaper, add widgets, and add the cool sliders (also see my screen further up this page, post #2252)

Here is the Chelski man for the ones that asked for it. Gonna do an Arsenal one for the Mrs and then a Celtic one that was requested and then that is me finished with these for the time being

Not sure with the alarm reminder, as for the agenda reminder, i'm using Agenda Widget, i've change my homescreen again, lol...

Sorry if there is a better thread to ask but I'm really new to tinkering with the screens on my Desire and wanted a bit of advice!
I've downloaded Launcherpro and am trying to get my icons etc looking as good as the ones on here but I could do with a bit of help!
- Is it worth getting Launcherpro plus? (and what does it add?)
- How do I install a "dock"? (I assume this is the band on which the bottom row of icons sits?)
- Can I make the icons bigger on the bottom row?
- Whats a good calendar app similar to the HTC calendar? Which I assume I cant now use?)
Sorry if these are silly questions or if there is a better thread to ask directions!

The plus version has widgets similar (and better, in my opinion) to HTC Sense.
Dock background: Menu > Preferences > Appearance settings > Dock background. Download new docks and place them in a folder on your SD card and they show up in the Gallery, or use the backgrounds included with LP. Basically, you can change docks as easily as changing wallpaper on your Homescreen.
Dock icons are a fixed size, but you can change them easily for any other icon.
The calander widget in launcherPro Plus is based on the Sense widget, I like it more.
