Best advice: Skip the chat, skip everything. Just go to level 2 support. It took all of 3 minutes to get it done using that.

Hi!
Just wanted to say thank you for all the info in this thread. I am a newbie to the forum and to android... heck, Im a newbie to smartphones, period! LOL
I just got my Inspire 2 days ago and did not have the side loading update. I went online and did the att chat and from the time I connected to them to the time I had the update on my phone was less than 5 minutes! Yay! She knew exactly what I wanted, asked me for last 4 of social, IMEI and boom it was done.
Thank you, cause I wouldn't have known how to accomplish this otherwise!

I have had the unknown sources option on my inspire for a long time...well at least a couple weeks. I went to gamelofts website to download assassins creed and it prompted me to check that box so i could download the game. I didnt know that the unknown sources was never an option :0
