2.6.10 is now brewing...

I'm gonna side with the opinion that the SGS2 is hard to brick! I guess smoking is better for your SGS2 than drinking. You don't accidentally drop it while smoking and you can't spill your smoke onto your phone and break it![]()
i`ve spilled whole cup of coffe on my SGS2 on 3rd day of having it... (being stoned ofc)
but its 7th month now and it`s still working so i guess its just a hell of a good phone

From the changelog it looks as though I can just slap, "/10", on the end.
I'm not even bothering to d/l .10.
Judging by the comments in the changelog, I think I'll wait until 2.6.11
^ +1 to that.

HAWKER: As a side issue to all this, what do you do to get such little nighttime loss? Turn everything off?
I think I'll wait until 2.6.11
No mate, far from it. Everything is on, ie. data, wifi, gps etc.
Wifi is on "sleep never when plugged in" so effectively its sleeping when the screen is off, but i never turn wifi off full stop.
As long as you can get pretty much a match between "screen on" and "awake", with only a few exceptions, and you get around 97% deep sleep at night, then 0.5% per hour is achievable.

Everything seems to be running OK on 2.6.11.
Just not too sure about the new Hyperdroid Redpill Kernel Recovery menu.
Red on black! I'm sure there's lots of good reasons for it and I can only think of one reason against it... it's bloomin hard to see!
(Lets play a little game and see who is the first person not to read the changelog and complain about Hyperdroid Recovery)

What is Hyperdorid recovery exactly.
That's your age again old boy. Nice and crystal clear to my youthful eyes![]()
Are we talking Stone here? That's right... pick on us over 35's!
What you do with those candles you hide under your mattress should not be made public! To be fair... I had just returned from a Burn's Night.

Does anyone know for sure if existing CWM backups will restore correctly with Hyperdroid and vice versa?
