That's very wishful thinking... you think the TB gingerbread update will be to 2.3.4 - which is the only version that officially works right now (not counting root)?? And in a few months?

My guess is that the GB update won't happen until next year since Verizon is notorious for not releasing software updates in a timely manner.

I will be getting rid of my Skype account as soon as I can use GTalk for video chat on my phone

Gingerbread is supposed to be released in June, I highly doubt it will be delayed till next year.
 
installed it on my tb with das bamf rom, and installed it on my mom's stock tb. tried it over 3G both had full bars. video was VERY choppy, laggy, delayed. No good, tried wifi, still poor quality? Is there something wrong with one of our setup?

Tango works way much better, but today it didnt work on one phone
 
Are you paying to use Skype on your mobile?

I am rooted and installed the Skype ap, but I could not get it to connect.
 
Someone else asked...and I'll ask again because he didn't get an answer. Is there a way to force Skype into Portrait mode? I don't really like landscape. Forces me to use 2 hands.

BTW..stock ROM, works very well, no battery issues either.
