Help SMS/MMS Issues.

GOSMS may not show the duplicates but you'll have to turn off notifications in the stock messages. Otherwise, you'll be receiving even more notifications. The duplicate messages are a known problem with your service providers, not the phone or Apps.

mms uses data to send and recieve not wifi, but heard there is a wifi app that can do that as i never tested a app like that.
 
Ok first lets say I love cm7 for metro I just have a few issues n I just need step by step. Instructions. To fix it.... of corset my mms wont work can't send them n also my wifi goes in an out. Bout every other second if I can just get these to work ill b on cloud 9

um im not sure i got the link off of the ultimate ascend custimization guide by tokenpoke and yes i flashed the metroff. zip and nada... its getting pretty annoying that my wifi goes out every 2 seconds especially since i love to download music and watch videos... is there a better cm7?? all i honostlly want is a faster up to date fone with wifi lol thats the whole reason im even modifying it i love the idea of cm7 i jus need those 2 issues fixed and ima be a happy camper

My suggestion is to start fresh, wipe n format everything but the sdcard and reflash CM7-Ascend, Gapps, and MetrOFF.

I have that same issue w/only one person as well(stock CM7 SMS/MMS),no real explanation for that.They have the OPTIMUS V,don't know if that may be the culprit as some have SMS/MMS issues sending to & receiving from the iPhone.

Also, you should test mms/wifi before restoring anything via TIBU. I found out that that was the culprit when I was having similar issues.
 
Hi this is my first post. I'm nous and I'm rooted and I'm running 2.2. I'm having a problem with my mms. I seem to be able to receive them but not send them. I'm only rooted, I'm not running any rom. Is there any fix for it? Oh any I'm on metro. Please help

I recently upgraded my Huawei ascend m860 from metro. i previously was using GOsms before i upgraded to 2.2,just upgraded the same phone not a new one. and have since been having trouble with mms,it sometimes downloads and sometimes just doesn't, idk if its caused by the upgrade or its just network,cause i sometimes never get the pics at all,or when i download it says downloading even for days.even my stock app doesn't work at all. please help.

Its the update, I think. Many people, including myself, also have MMS issues. It seems like the upgrade doesn't support MMS, which is upsetting since we pay for the service and can't use it.

i thought i was the only one,cause it frustrates my friends when i make them resend pics like 10 times thinking i may get it.

Check out cm6/cm7. Mms works, so does everything else. Only thing that doesn't work are 3rd party camera Apps, which is fine with me. The ascends camera pretty much sucks.

its not the update from metro, its metro bad service that cause sms/mms to not function at some point of the day, but it also depend on the coverage area you are in also.
 
My Sister is pregnant and I want to save the pics of the ultra sound to my phone and maybe I am dumb but I cant find a forum that tells me ho. I posted this on another forum but we redirected here lo. please help :eek:

Using that neat search feature would have told you right away.
Long press on the pic.

long press on the picture and tap save, or hit the menu button and there should be a save option.
 
okay here goes have a motorola droid 2 global A956 fully flashed to cricket with sms/mms issues.

#1 when i send an mms it sends twice

#2 when i receive mms it get it twice

running stock rom, using chompsms
