So, what did I miss?

I play tourneys and cash games, but I mostly play cash in casinos or home games and tourneys or sit and gos online. I typically make the most money from sit and gos though. I am apart of a league that plays tournaments only, but I don't play with them too often because of scheduling conflicts and a very high donkey level. As far as games go, I will play just about anything. I love Hold'em and Omaha, but 7 card and Razz are great too. I don't get into some of the other variants of the game like Chicago, but I will play them if that is all that is going on. I really miss Full Tilt (especially on my phone) and Poker Stars right now and want my money back, but I'm content to play on some of the other sites until those two come back to the US.

I have played Bodog some lately, but don't really like it. FullTilt was my go to site before they quit allowing us to play. Is there a better site to play on that we can still us? I love Omaha 8, but I also like Omaha, hold em, and the occasional stud game.

Carbon is really nice, but they aren't accepting new US players right now.
Cake is ok for tournaments
BetOnline is pretty all over the place. Some ok free rolls and sit and gos. They do sports betting too, but the poker play really depends on the level you are playing at.
DoylesRoom is still pretty good for all around play and some pretty nice tournaments.
I know that Intertops and Juicystakes are accepting US players, but I haven't tried either. There are also sites like PurePlay and WPT that let you play for "free" as long as you pay a monthly subscription fee which doesn't exactly make them free.

I've never been very good with hi/lo games or Omaha 8 so I usually avoid them. Not sure which sites have them. Hold'em is the universal "hot" game these days so you can find that just about anywhere.

So US players can play on Doylesroom? Cash games are pretty good?

The only reason I play on Bodog really is because that is where I do my sports betting  the poker games kind of suck and the UI is really sub par.

If they do allow US players to play cash games I will go there right now and register. I have been looking for a good site that still allows US players. I miss being able to play cash games on Poker Stars, they still have some of my money too.

I've been a registered user for a while so can't honestly say if they are taking new members or not, but I play for real money on that site.

Hi OTD. Nice to meet you :)

Nice to meet you as well. :D

As far as I know all of the sites I mentioned will allow US players to play for real money. Keep in mind that online poker isn't really illegal in the US it is all up in the air so to speak. The reason that UB, FT and PS where shut down had to do with money laundering, taxes, fees and other legal stuff, not just because they are poker sites.

Let's see....

Two things come to mind...

1) The new pre-fix change went into effect.
2) And Steven58 added 18,000+ posts to his count. :p

Oh, don't forget Rob selling Phandroid to AOL 6 months ago.

LMAO, I just looked that up. Good April fools joke, but a little over the top.

How bout those Thrashers? :(

<Sigh> Congrats to Winnipeg on getting a team again I guess. I'm still following them and the Avs now too. I might even get an Avs jersey and a Jets jersey for Christmas this year.

Wait.....hmmm now lets see....."Phases" had a beautiful baby while "Of the Damned" was gone for 9 months..........................:p........................
