Root Solved? lol...Help battery wont charge

This is a problem i have as well. Started like u random charging car icon all the same. Then boom no reason it would start charging. Problem got worse and worse untill one day last week it stopped charging all together. Needed phone for work so ran to radio shack and they tested chargers etc and deemed the phone board bad. Bought new phone got home and decides to play with ultra and plugged it in....charged no problem. Let the kids play with it after charging and plugged it in every night at about 50 percent life and charged no problem. Now tonight they played with it all day and killed the battery....now it wont charge. I am thiking it is a battery problem and not phone/charger. If i can get it to take a charfe afain i will test the theory but i would reccomend keeping the battery above 50 if you can ajd see if it works. I will post back. If i get to test the theory.

i was having this this problem last week. phone completely flipped out. it would go charging to not charging about 2 times a second. the noise it was making from megatron for charging was incredible, when in silent it just continuously vibrated. computer wouldnt pick it up at all and neither wall or usb did squat. after playing with it for a bit it got better, but still not normal. still get occasional charging indications and noises out of nowhere. i was also getting the car mode every so often. even when off it would think it was charging. when i got home i pulled the battery and scrubbed the hell out of the port with alcohol and a toothbrush, then took my air compressor and blasted the living s#%t out of it. going on 8 days now and not a single problem
