Root Some help :/

I haven had any luck flashing any of the roms here specially the first Cyanogen mod that was ported to the Optimus M from Metro PCS. now i was successful once and currently still on it, im also rooted and have clockworkmod v5.0.2.7.

Now the problem is i keep getting a (Status 7) and installation aborted error.


I will appreciate it if anyone can help me bypass/fix this.


I have done all steps currect with the wiping of the phone, and also re downloaded several times the rom just in case the zip was corrupted as mentioned in other forums but still no luck.

Edit: Im guessing its the zips that were corrupted when downloading, i just tried one of prime's zip roms and it went threw... I'll be checking the other ones and update on progress.

On backside, you must look trough the thread for version 0.7 because Primed hasn't updated the OP yet, it's somewhere on the last page.

Thx... i just switched over to the Official MIUI rom, still having the same problem with Playfulgod's CM7 port. Some zips are flashing fine some aren't.

If you are downloading the ROMs with your phone, I highly suggest to use a PC instead, but if your only option is your phone, make sure you are getting an excellent wifi signal and that you don't let the phone fall asleep while downloading

I actually am using a pc, its probably the signal
 
make sure the check sums match to ensure a proper file transfer. my CWM is only version 4.something.

nah im probably thinking is the wireless connection, im on someone's open network but i know for a fact the person is not close by. So zips must be getting corrupted while downloading.

Note:
So far i have been able to flash every rom here except Playfulgod's CM7, its weird i just dl'ed 2 roms from the laptop with firefox and they worked so it cant be a connection/signal issue.

It might be a server issue?
