For those that can't wait for next week, I got it at a Radio Shack. I think most cashiers are oblivious to it's release date. I got the manager to sell me one, and I didn't have to haggle, I just asked for it. Today is probably the best day here in NY, becasue most Radio Shacks get next week's shipment today, Friday. Yes - red for charging, green for notifications. What's kinda cool, though silly, is it fades in and out, rather than a pure blink.

VM Support told me to take it back to Bestbuy and return it for another Triumph.
 
For the people who do not have VM plans already why not buy any VM phone and activate it. Then transfer the plan over to the Triumph and return the other phone.
 
So far besides the red LED, I've only noticed a flashing green one when you have a VM or SMS.Haven't tried to link up with a BT yet, so I would imagine a blue light will show up one day.
 
I had to use the "Activation" twice. The first time, my Optimus stopped working, so I was without a phone for about 20 minutes. Then I tried again, and boom, it worked.
 
Ok folks, I have the phone!

The Best Buy Mobile stores in the malls seem to have them while the Best Buy stores don't *yet* around here.

I went this morning and they had 5 of them. I bought one, it was defective (she's a no-boot)--- no juice, nada, so I just exchanged it. Haven't even opened the box yet. *giddy*


For any of you in South Florida, Best Buy Mobile in the Boynton Beach Mall has 2 more left.

Just sayin.
 
One question - does it come with the mini HDMI to HDMI cable? And has anyone hooked it up to see how it looks on a TV?

Yup, called both of them nearby, as well as one just across the state border. Same with Radio Shack.

Today is not my lucky day, it appears. Although, one Best Buy person simply said that it "wasn't released yet", but didn't say that it wasn't in stock. Hmm...
