Yes. For real. As I said previously, an hour of screen time for me, at only 10% brightness, uses anywhere from 20-35% of my battery, depending on what I'm doing and what is on screen.
For example, reading a website with a dark background would use far less power than playing an animated game or watching a video.
You need a new phone as your battery problems are clearly related to your connectivity issues, both data and wifi. I don't believe a new SIM will help since you are having issues with Wifi staying connected too.
