The chin is ugly along with that flat color gray. I was waiting for a 3.7" display phone to replace my INC. If this is it, I will stick with the phone I have...
Why don't you get the Incredible 2, it's great!
If you have an upgrade to use on it, it will probably be like 50$ or free.
4"is the prefect size.
I don't think the hTC One V will hit VZW either.

Yes, actually I have 2 of them... I wouldn't use a upgrade on the Inc2, but may possibly look at purchasing one on ebay or craigslist if there doesn't look to be any new 3.0 or 4" phones on the radar for VZW this year.
I don't like the chin, but with everything else about the phone, it's worth it to me. The only problem is that it is coming to Virgin Mobile. I just sold my Motorola Triumph for bad signal so if it's coming to VM I can't get it.
Bad signals can be due to bad antenna design of a phone too, not just area of coverage. Hopefully the One V (if it's coming to VM) has better signal reception than the MT.
I actually quite like the design of this phone. I had the T-Mobile G1 when it first came out (along with Android version 1 :O) and I always kind of liked the chin. I similarly liked the design of the HTC Legend, and am thinking about buying this phone unlocked to use as I wouldn't want to waste an upgrade on it.
I was worried of the chin protruding off my pants when i bought this . But thankfully thats not the case, it sits pretty well; and sure it gives the Phone a very different (Awesome!) look!
1. the chin raises the screen surface when placed 'face down' on a table.
2. it provides a good grip on the phone when taking it out of your pocket.
3. you know which end you are holding when you initially take it out of your pocket.
4. it looks cool, and Apple can't say jack about the design, freakin fruit company.
I don't mind it, the black one that Telus and Koodo mobile in Canada have looks really nice. Also feels more comfortable talking on it. Only reason it is going, is my girlfriend likes her old HTC Desire better. The Desire is rooted with a custom rom and runs faster than the One V, and so far only sense roms available for the One V so for now the Desire is still faster.
No real complaints about the One V though. Way better than the piece of junk LG Optimus Black she had while working for Koodo mobile.
to be honest i hardly notice the chin but i think its more of a weird bonus than a down side imo it feels great inhand and i like it for watching videos a bit funy but not bad
I love the chin, particularly because the speaker is on it. I've found that when I set my phone down on a table, the speaker reverberates off the surface and it's actually louder than having it face-down.
Plus, compared to my Op V, this thing is freaking sexy.
Not at all, and I can't think of any way that it would.
Side note: It also seems to make the phone easier to hold in landscape mode. That extra bit of width right in the nook between thumb and finger really does a lot.
