I've decided to share my greatest accomplishment. I am so proud of what I have done with the settings app. I will say that I started with L's previous settings app just to eliminate making the text smaller. This was also built off Superuser's ICS settings app. This was done just to eliminate some work. I will incorporate it into ALL of the ICS 4.0 themes.


Features

-Almost identical to ICS Settings
-Small thin header for each section
-Dividers are not ICS but I like mine more :D
-Changed text to resemble ICS
-Moved some sections around to make it look proportioned.

And the biggest MOD of them all.

-"Recovery and Backup" tab that when clicked, opens up ROM Manager. (I've been trying for the past 48 hours to link it directly to "recovery" like in the power menu but I have failed miserably. I figure this is the next best thing. NOTE- If you dont have ROM Manager installed then it will be no use to you. :D



You can use the settings app in your current theme IF you wish BUT you will not have the thin header, my dividers, ICS background. You can add them if you wish using 7zip. It's very easy.



-Settings apk if you choose NOT to wait until its implemented into ICS theme.

Dev-Host - Settings.apk - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service


Just place the settings.apk in /system/app and replace your current settings. Reboot if changes dont take immediately. I use commander so once I paste it, it automatically installs.



Keep an eye for the ICS 4.0 theme. Ill bump it up once i get all the themes good to go. :D

I hope you guys enjoy this. This is the first REAL mod I've made and I've put many many hours into this. I cant describe how proud I was to see it all WORK when I got done. Thanks to L and superuser for providing me a starting point with their settings.

I did it through the frame work and ldrifta did it through the settings app., I'm not sure if the combination had made it even smaller than l's settings. I haven't compared.
 
On your OP you describe the mod as a "recovery and backup", but your screenshot shows "reboot and recovery". Just a heads up :p. Great job fuzzle

Awesomesauce work, but i have to admit you got me on the title, and we all was about to find you and glue your arse to the computer chair. :D

Nothing was changed with bluetooth. Whatever the issue is prolly ROM based im assuming.


Thanks for all the "thanks". Means a lot to see people appreciate work done around here. I hate seeing 250 views and a couple of "thanks", especially when they post in the thread. I just wanna say I appreciate the feedback. :D

Oh, I wasn't talking bout no one in particular. I was talking mainly about another thread I had that had like tons of views and like 4 thanks. lol.

But I appreciate all of yall. Any one who acknowledges my work is appreciated by me. :D

I dunno with the Esteem, but the themed settings.apk for the Connect was what was breaking bluetooth on it. ;)

Don't know what to tell you. If it doesn't look like the screen shot then something is wrong else where in your phone.

I thought you broke your esteem? And were leaving? Lol
