Hey guys,i have decided to create splash screens,so i figured i would post a few,let you guys get the idea and then let you guys request the rest.

If any rom developers want splash screens made for your roms, just pm me with the requested rom and text you would like me to input.

I have tested everyone of these splashes and they all work 100%.You have to be rooted to install these on your phone.

Instructions:

1)Download the splash screen that you desire.
2)Copy the splash screen(PC36IMG.zip,it has to be named to this!UPPER CASE LETTERS!!)to the root(first level of the sd cards folder)of your SD card.
3)Power off your phone, wait 10 seconds, then hold the volume rocker in the down position and power on,you will boot into Hboot.(If you have the multi power mod, then you can skip this step and go straight to Hboot from home screen).
4)When in Hboot, wait for Hboot to load,it takes a second, when loaded,it will ask you if you want to install the update, push the volume rocker in the up position to install the update(splash screen).(sometimes when you boot into Hboot it will be in fastboot mode, just scroll to Hboot if it already is'nt there and hit the power button to boot into Hboot).
5)It will then ask if you want to reboot, hold up on the volume rocker to reboot your phone back to your home screen.(on your way back, check out your new splash screen).
6)Once back in your phone,go to a file explorer of your choice and go to the root of your sd card and remove the PC36IMG file,so it does'nt try to update the next time you boot into Hboot.

Disclaimer:I am not responsible for what happens to your phone after you download this file.I posted detailed instructions to install a splash screen, theres no reason for you to brick your phone.

These look nice :D I make a bunch of them mostly for myself since I dl most of the pics I haven't uploaded any of them in a while may have to look and see what I have to offer

Do these replace the white screen with the words "EVO 4G" that comes on when you turn on the phone?

yep that is what a splash screen is. the one after the white screen is called the bootanimation. you can replace that as well if you like. the process can more involved then some and you will most likely need a file manager like es or root explorer.

Worked just fine on my phone. If I wanted to change the splash screen would I follow the same instructions?

yes you will need to rename it.

also guys you can try this out,
http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...d-flasher-2-2-0-5-12-12-11-a.html#post3306609

1.download and install android flasher on your desktop.

2.download the splashscreen file and extra the .img file to some place on your desktop.

3.run android flasher from your computer.

4.select splashscreen and navigate to the file you just extracted.

5. select flash at the bottom and android flasher will install it for you.

Ok I couldn't get the hboot to recognize the PC36IMG.zip file for upddate so I wanna try your method breze.... Can you make your instructions a little more detailed? I've downloaded the flasher, do i install it on my phone or run in on my cpu?

oh yeah sorry you install it on your computer and run it from there.

Ok I got it to recognize my device and browse to the file I downloaded, but it says there are no flashable files

I personally can't tell you whats going on I never used the flasher I've wanted to but just havent been in Windows Long enough to go oh yeah I want to do this.

Ok Normally what I do is i rename the file to PC36IMG.zip place it in the root of the sdcard. I then hit my Quick Boot and choose bootloader from their I choose fastboot and then let the updater see the file I answer yes (volume Up) then want to reboot I answer yes again and BAM I have my new Splash Screen.

Thanks diablo, your method just wouldn't work for me, but I got it not through AF... Man that's a nifty little program to have. Gonna flash one of your boot anis through it!

Just dl'd check my androids from phone copied to root of drive renamed, rebooted, updated, went blind checking out her androids. :D
What do you mean, went blind?i have'nt had any problems and my brother uses them also, they are just made for EVO 4G,no other phone. What hboot are you on,not sure it has anything to do with it or not, this might be a good question, because it works for some and some it do'nt.

I mean that I had no issues I was saying I went blind in reference to the woman showing of her "androids" you were asking if there were any problems loading the screen I was just informing you that it worked well for me.
