That sounds like it could be a ROM issue. Are you running an AOSP ROM? Can you view any of the Sprint Apps in the Play Store? If not, it could mean the build.prop in your ROM is missing the Sprint-specific information.thanks frisco.
So any advice? I just re-flashed the vanilla ROM, Market gives the little screen that says it's the play store, yada yada. Still no root apps. Perplexed.![]()
Weird. I'm using the same ROM. Very curious. If it was Sprint, it's odd that it would affect you and not me. Have you tried clearing data for the Play Store, or logging out of your Google account, and then back in?running Mikgv3.11. no themes or tweaks applied. Sending the apps to the phone from a PC browser works, but still not on the app. Gonna search for an apk and reinstall play store....
oh and yeah, Sprint apps are there. I'm really starting to think this is them, it's behaving exactly like my friends AT&T phone.....

Even though I have not had the problem I do use 2 backup apps 1 is ofcourse TB and the other is Astro. Astro just backs up the apk's. I find this to be very helpful when I need to restore an app that maybe I haven't used in a while or when I install a ROM that doesn't burn TB into it.Right now with Google just changing over from Market to Play Store there seem to be a few problems with getting Market to Upgrade and be usable. It is also handy for those times you may not be getting a good connection to the tower. Also an FYI for those who are unaware. You can create a Flashable zip for TB. I'll give the instructions as soon as My phone boots up from flashing a new ROM
EDIT: Open TB and tap menu button choose more then choose "Create update zip"
, then you'll have it upon boot. No need to mess with the Play store.
