Sprint Store Online - Sold out

No, not yet. That's normal though. It will update some time later tonight.

I know. Just hate waiting to see that ETA.

It is actually being shipped to my sister's house in Michigan where i'm going for the weekend. I'm leaving here around 3pm tomorrow so I won't be able to mess with it until around Midnight. Didn't want to chance it being delivered here after I was already gone.

Going to give the Blackberry one last hurrah as it provides me some GPS functionality on the ride up. Then she gets retired until I donate her.

i have about 4 days left for my 30 day return window and i noticed some light leakage. I'm don't mind it but i was bored and decided to call sprint for an exchange. They were happy to send me a new one but they had to charge me for the phone then refund it back once i send the old phone back. good good :D

I hear the shortage was all because they wanted to get the phones out to NewYorkers due to 4g.

doubt that was true...theres still no OFFICIAL 4G service here in new york, although there has been reports of some users getting a 4G connection in midtown as well as brooklyn ny. They also claimed that they were unable to get an IP address for the Wimax connection so the assumption is testing is ongoing in new york as of this time.. SPrint recently added 3 more cities to the list of 4G markets so at least they are working their 4g magic

A few years ago when Sprint required you to ship the phone to your billing address UPS left my BB Curve on my porch w/o a signature requirement.

I ordered mine yesterday from sprint.com and the process made me send it to my billing address, which sux cuz I won't be here tomorrow, I'll be at work (I live alone). But I called someone I know who works at UPS and he told me to call them at 7am tomorrow morning and tell them to hold my package and I can pick it up at 9am. Keep your fingers crossed this all goes well 😆:)

Seems Sprint.com is the best bet. With Houston being a 4G town, none seem to be had around here - wait lists are so long at Best Buy and Sprint. My question is:

If you have the phone delivered, how do you get a number ported from AT&T to Sprint and phone activated? Do I walk it into a local Sprint store? Can a rep do it over the phone?

Thanks for any answers.

Oh, and yes, tell us your build date when you all get your new phones from UPS.

Just call them up, I think you can even do it over the web. I'm going to call though to see if they can recover my old cell #.

yes yes build dates and hardware version pls

things to check

1. light leakage (go into the bathroom, turn off all lights and see if you can see any light from bottom of the phone)
2. glass separation (the glass should be about 1 mm below the bezel... run your nail on all the edges of the glass to see if you can catch the bezel... if you can't, there is some irregularity in the glass placement).
3. battery door (are both sides of the battery door flush with the phone?)

1. No light leakage
2. Glass is below the bezel
3. Battery cover is all good

Same as above. This phone is awesome! Can't stop playing with it! It arrived Thursday but actually took it out of the box and activated it yesterday.

Mine came in 2 days ago and is perfect in every way. No issues. Best phone I've ever used by a large margin. I'm 100% satisfied.

Hardware version is 03. I can not locate the build date anywhere on the inside of the back cover.

Both our Evos are perfect. Mine came in on Thursday, and both are perfect. They have 6/15/10 dates under the covers. Just like above, no issues.

From everything I have been seeing here on the forums Best Buy would be the last place I would purchase my EVO. I have read post after post from people complaining about the service there than anywhere else.

People, I just purchased my 2 EVO's online at wirefly.com. Here's how it went.

I received $80 Bing cashback on EACH PHONE (2) PLUS! Got 2 FREE bluetooth devices! PLUS! My phones shipped THE SAME DAY!

ALL THIS IN ONE DAY:

1) as suggested, made SURE I had a Bing cashback account to take advantage of their $80 Bing cashback weekend for purchase of ANY cell phone at wirefly.com

2) Log into your Bing page then search 'wirefly' and be SURE to click on the link with the icon next to it that says Bing Cashback which takes you to their home page and sets a cookie with Bing as the referrer.

3) Find the EVO 4G (click Sprint under manufacturers and it is down a few rows and on the right side). Click Select

4) Go through the plan configuration and other options while adding it to your cart. You'll notice it states Bing Cashback as one of the features. Hit Add To Cart to get to the next screen.

5) Under promotions and coupons enter: WIREFLYBLUE11 and you will receive a FREE BLUETOOTH for each phone you purchase!

6) Proceed through checkout and pay (make SURE you've selected the right phone plan!) AND make SURE you've unchecked any of the options you don't want like wifi hotspot and their insurance WHICH ARE BOTH SELECTED by default. (that is, IF you don't want them)

7) Pay and print your receipt.

I did this at 12:20AM. At 9:03AM I received confirmation the order was approved by Sprint and sent for processing and shipment. At 12:33PM I received notice THEY WERE SHIPPED!!

The phones were $109.95 EACH net after the Bing cashback ($189.00) and NO REBATE TO DEAL WITH. Plus, NO TAX.

Also, there's a couple of Wirefly reps that are forum members that help you with your order that are TERRIFIC! So, right now .. for the best deal and they are ready to ship .. try Wirefly/Bing!

well..by checking the sprint website, it seems they are wiped out of Evos once again for the time being... I finally got ot exchange my hardware 2 for a 3 this saturday after becoming victimized by the OTA update which bricked my evo. I must say build quality has improved from HW2 to HW3... only thing is i think the screen is no longer glass but plastic..i believe someone already posted this though not sure if it really is glass on HW3

I ended up just walking into my local sprint store and bought my evo friday. They had 3 in stock. Id reccomend calling your local sprint stores.

Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk

LMAO, ha ha, they did not change to a plastic screen, for goodness sake people

I ordered my wife's EVO from sprint.com last week. Got it the next day. When I checked this morning, they were out of stock again. I guess I lucked out and hit the window just right.

She's happy! :)
