Root sprint vvm

Okay, so i reinstalled my VVM.... yay, didnt really miss it, but i kept seeing people having trouble with it and i was curious about what the big deal was, so here i am with that stupid notification on my notification bar with the two circles and a line connecting the bottoms of em (new vm notif. ) and i cant get it to go away... ive gone into my vm and ensured that i dont have any, ive closed the app, rebooted, swore at it, threatened its family etc etc ive even given it some stink eye... all to no avail.... any ideas what im doing wrong?

Same thing has been happening to me lately, eventually the notification goes away, but it seems to take a couple days.

If you open vm and hit menu.settings. is there a "clear notification" selection?

It is only visible if you have vm notification so I dont remember exactly where it is.

@frenchy, gotcha. grrrrrrr, but gotcha lol
@Mr. Ed i went in there and there wasnt a clear notifications button, perhaps ill leave myself an actual vm and see if it appears and go from there.
