Still Confident Bravo is coming to Verizon

You know how Verizon is with the whole "Name a Phone after a Movie Thing", so im guessing they're taking it from the movie the Incredibles. Their main theme is red lol

i think the back being red is sexy btw. Reminds me of prada lol

I don't think it has been addressed that the nexus one is running at 1ghz yet, has it?
i would think it is underclocked also, just to conserve battery.

850 works for me. hope the back has the same texture as nexus and eris.

I hope that it gets the 1GHz. If it has DRM capability, Sense UI with 2.1, and that amazing processor, I might not need a new phone for a while...;)

Excellent find!

850mhz processor though? Is this just an underclocked snapdragon or could it be something else? Hope the underclock wont affect performance at all.

If its snapdragon can't they just tweak the firmware to get the speed higher?

On the positive side of all of this, at least if it will be offered by Verizon we can all walk into the store and play with it to ensure that it is up to speed for us before we purchase it. We won't have to rely on completely basic video reviews of "here's how the keyboard works" and "this is the new voice to text feature" we can run it though the ranks to some extent in the store. Ha who cares about those models, they won't be the ones that will end up in our hands :D

i wonder what processor there going to use if it will be the snapdragon just underclocked or if a totally different one? your thoughts?

...we don't even know if it will go to Verizon. :|

Just guesswork, but my bet is that this is the snapdragon processor. This is the "hot" new platform that has been a buzz for some time. I am leaning toward yes indeed Verizon has a snapdragon based device coming running Android 2.1 w/all the other goodies (maybe even with the advanced SD capabilities that had also been rumored not that long ago) and will be launching after the new pricing plans are established and some of the shine is taken off the Nexus (which of course is already happening).

or it could tie in with Iron Man 2 since Iron man is incredible :D

My wifes runs pretty smoothly. Never had lag going from homescreen panel to panel. Some apps take a tad to start up but once they do they're smooth.
I was a bit harsh. I didn't have any lag at all, but you had to type on the keyboard super super slow.

Huh?? The article states it's a Verizon phone in the title and the body. Why would you think otherwise?

He's probably assuming speculation on the writers of the article. Not saying I agree or disagree, but you know how many bullshit articles and "confirmed info" we have seen in the past months.

True, we don't have any solid confirmation on this yet, but it sure is refreshing to have SOMETHING at least. Ya know? We've been running on fumes here lately in the Passion forum. Sure am glad some new info has leaked.

So, what do you guys think about the, rumored, processor speed at 850mhz? Do you think it will effect performance very much? Mostly, would you guys rather have a much longer battery life and a little slower speed or would you take the extra 150mhz and possibly a much shorter battery life? I'm curious what you all think. Cause personally, I would take the longer battery life. There's nothing worse, to me, than when a battery in my LG Dare starts dying at the end of it's life and the charge lasts shorter and shorter and it's constantly dying throughout the day. I hate that. I'd opt for a better battery life and lose a little processor speed, but I guess we won't know for sure until we've actually used the phone and played with it and also until we've had it for a week or so to see how long the battery life is. If the battery life is pretty much the same as the Nexus One and has less processor speed, that'd be a bad tradeout. Hopefully, if what the rumored processor speed is, is true, it will have some very noticeable battery life benefits. If not, it's going to be disapointing.
