Root SuperOneClick 2.1 Root :D

After you manage to Root, 1st thing you should do is to backup your phone using xRecovery. Its a must before u continue. So any problems after that, you can restore the old data. btw BTT, use SEUS.
 
OMG am i so stupid or what
i turned on debugging mode
sd card is unmounted
drivers are newest, i checked online from device manager (comp see my mob like portable device h:, is that ok?)
and at the end allways the same : "waiting for device"
Help please!
 
i did same sd partition as in video nd after lots of try i install app2sd nd xrecovery on my x8 2.1.1.A.0.6.after partition i can see

total space
1.47GB

available space
1.22GB

Internal phone storage 201mb(change from 159mb)

i dont know how to use app2sd
i read the thread it install auto but how cn i check it?thanks
 
I didnt installed drivers for mob, only have installed pc companion. In my computer, there is icon of local disk h: , not sony x8. Maybe that is a problem? In device manager, apperars "portable device - local disk h:". When i try to upgrade drivers , comp says "best drivers already installed"
Please help, i want to root my phone!

Suhel... I think I rooted my X8 OK (see attached printscreen) but have no idea on how to delete those preinstalled games and applications.. I did root my phone in order to do that and be able to install some applications (wifi tether) that need a rooted phone..

hello everybody..im new with this root thing.i just want to ask..it is possible to change my sd card after i root n install xrecovery??? currently i used 2gb sd card.i want to upgrade to 8gb...thanks
 
i did the superoneclick n i done it successfully but wen i run some custom app it says my phone is not rooted ... any help ??????
 
I am trying to use the newest superoneclick on my Nook Color, which is running Android 2.2 and is rooted already vi MiniRooter v2 (but I can't remount the system partition as r/w for some reason).

I can use ADB fine via USB, can execute commands in its shell, etc.

When I run SOC I get the following output:

Thanks! Worked perfectly on SE X10 mini pro running 2.1
Even worked on a virtual XP machine running on Ubuntu.

(ubuntu 11.04 and VirtualBox-4.0 (Not OSE), with USB extension installed)

Missing from the instructions in post 1 is a very important step, hidden all the way down in page 2......

hi ... i used the super one click to root my phone but the program always says waiting for device.. ive wait for 30 minutes and the program does not respond.. ive been using the windows 7 and i already installed the higher version of .net frame.. what could be the problem??? please help me im desperate to root my phone..
 
OMG WHY DOES MINE STOP THERE??? MY FIRST TIME ROOTING WAS FINE BUT AFTER I UPDATED TO GINGERBREAD I CAN'T ROOT ANYMORE AND I'M FREAKING OUT COZ I CAN'T RESTORE MY APPS AND DATA VIA TITANIUM BACKUP!!! HELP!!

Hi i am using sony ericsson xperia 8, with android v 2.1. I am actually planning to upgrade it to froyo but before i do that, i was informed that i need to root my phone. i've read the forums but i dont know where to download the superoneclick application for rooting.

need help. please
