i am making the move from mikg 2.59 over to mik3d. i was wondering how you all have it set up. kernels? setcpu? v6 supercharger? i want to try and suck out every ounce of battery i can. thanks in advance! :)

It is very similar to MikG. Whatever you were using on MikG just try the same settings on 3D. Its basically mikG with the 3D carousel

so every phone is different, so what works for me may not work for you. with kernels you really just need to try one and see then move on if it does not work for you. remember to always make a nandroid backup. i would start with the aggressive freedom kernel and then move on from there. always give a kernel a few days to settle in before deciding to move on.

same goes with setcpu. on my evo i can go as high as 1190 without any issues, but for some that would freak out other phones. so you really just need to play with the settings. also try and use smartass or interactive x as a governor.

i have not used supercharger script in while now. to me the difference is very minimal but a lot have seen noticeable difference. sorry i forget what i had it set to.

to really get bettery battery life i would also have the mobile data toggle switch someplace handy on your homescreen. i would then just keep it off until you want to go on the net. 3g is just as much of a battery hog as 4g.

when you say "freak out" do you mean sending it into an infinate boop loop? mine has done that on mikg a few times but as soon as i turned it down to 998 it seems to have quit.

yes that is correct. see, my phone no matter what the rom is i can go up to 1190 with no issues. but your phone is completely different and can't handle it. so it is always hard to recommend kernels and setcpu settings as they may not work for you. you will just have to play around with your phone until you realize the sweet spot for your phone.

plus isn't that the fun of being rooted? messing around with tweaking and customizing is the addicting part of it for me at least.
