Help swype.apk

Anybody have a link or where can I get. Put CM7 on my girl's phone and she like swype from simple blue better that's than gb keyboard

ok so I have been using hroark13's clockwork and cyanogen, props and kudos to all who worked on that.

I had not previously got swype working correctly, so I tried all the usual, with the obvious outcome.

Before getting the beta I used root uninstaller to remove then rebooted the phone.

I then tried downloading the beta, had to dig up my account info from when I had a g1.

The installer worked fine but when it tried to start it force closed.

So here is the things I tried to make it work.

1 install beta -- force close

2 reboot phone -- force close

3 reboot to recovery, clear dalvik cache, clear cache, wipe data/factory reset

4 reboot 2x (getting out of recovery)

5 login to google market

6 open file manager navigate to /sdcard/downloads

7 install Swype-Installer.apk

8 log into swype account

9 selected swype americas, then works!!

this is what I had to do, mostly do the factory reset and then install

when i first tried it the only way i could get it to work was on "all nations" or whatever they call it. but then after in uninstall and reinstall i was able to just pick "Americas" its weird, not sure what causes it.
