Root Synergy vs MikG

For those who have tried both, which one do you like better?

i like mikg2.2 better. i think that it seems smoother and faster. but both are great roms. my suggestion is to make a nandroid and try them both. it is all a matter of preference.

Synergy for me. Seems a lot faster with no force closes, and I think the battery life is better.

I tried both and MikG 2.2 for me. They are very close, and you can not go wrong with either, but I just prefer some of the apps MikG already had installed (I know I can download them from the market). Plus MikG seems just a bit faster for me.

Thanks I've always been a fan of mik roms so I'll give mikg a shot. The only reason I ask is because my nandroid failed last time so if it happens again I'm just going to stick with whatever rom I flash for a while.

what recovery are you using? you may want to swtich to amon ra. i never had any issues with my nandroids.

I'm actually using amon ra 2.3, have had no other issues so far except when I made a nandroid of cm7 and flashed kings alliance. When I tried to restore it gave me an error message.

Both are great roms. I have to say that I prefer Synergy only because of the aesthetics but I could go with either one.

It was something along the lines of "oops...restore failed" but I figured out what the problem was, I made a mistake renaming something.

I like them both, it's kinda hard to choose but the nightlies keep my flashing addiction happy
