I noticed that Rom yesterday. It certainly looks like its from the same dev. Then again I'm not sure either.
One thing I noticed different is in the changelog it claims to have the Verizon hot spot hacked just like team black hat did on the x.
I may try it.
 
i just flashed the mr2 cm7 so ill prolly be a few days on that... but i think i may try it as well. virus rom was one of my early favorites,and prolly would have continued to be if he were able to update it... but it never made it past a 1.12.605.6 base :(

a friend of mine tried his infected GB rom on an evo... it looked sharp. let us know how you like it if you decide to give it a go :cool:
 
I flashed this rom twice, with a full wipe. Both times. Just to make sure.
But I still had allot of reboots,

Other than that I liked the rom allot, Virus roms are always nice
 
Scotty, its the same Virus. He just changed his name I guess to look a little more professional. LOVE this ROM. Best battery life Ive gotten hands down. What I like the most about V is that he works on making it work first and then make it look good. Best ROM Ive found hands down.
 
cool,thanks. ill definately give it a shot. i liked our original virus rom alot... and his GB evo rom lookek good on my friends phone.

Youll love it dude. Its so quick and Buttery smooth. Remember, its still on nightlies, so there will be bugs, but thats to be expected.

One of the main reason I loved Virus' first ROM for the TB was it was one of the first senseless ROM available. Does he have a senseless zip or is it full blown, in your face, over the top sense (I don't dig sense, can you tell)

I run senseless as usual. His main install is senseless and all you need to do to install sense is to put a rosie folder in the SynergyRom folder if you decide you want it after you flash. Its how I still keep my lockscreen with the edited buttons and weather. I would like Sense if I had the ability to customize it a bit and also have a five button rosie. GOLauncher + Senseless = win

ever play with r2's doubleshot port? its "espresso" sense and includes a 5 button moddable rosie. too bad he didnt stick with it and get data working.

Lol. Im gunna get Virus on that. I dont ask bamf for anything. We dont...get along. lol. As far as that link goes though, THATS what I want. If I can get Virus to incorporate that Id be ****ing HAPPY.

i agree, it would be pretty sweet. the duobleshot port was neat,even without data and everything that was broken. if hell port espresso onto our 2.3.4 leak it would be awsome(doubleshot was still 2.3.3). make sure you tell him you know of at least a couple other folks what would definately be interested :D

Hope over to the forums sometime dude. InfectedROM Android Community Forums - Infected Main Join chat, theres usually a good mix of Evo and Bolt users in there. It would be fun to not have to answer all the Bolt questions for all the noobs sometime. lol.
 
Gonna try it the once I grab a little more juice on charge.

Edit: Jeepers that splash animation took forever to get through, and now the white HTC screen is taking forever. But it does complete! Posted this so others don't panic.

Edit #2: I like it so far. I'd like it better with an overclockable kernel, but I guess that is only a day or so away. Everything ported over pretty well--google does a pretty good job with the apps.

This is a new base as of the latest build. Its the same base that Chingy acquired and is from what I know of it the official GB build for the Bolt. It usually takes a little bit on first boot, but after that youll not notice it. Just put it down and go smoke a bowl or get laid. Come back to your phone and youll be gravy. Ziggy is working on the kernel. Tonights build will have a new kernel with his touch, however it breaks the camera. lol.



For anyone wondering about battery life with average to moderate use...

1400mah OEM battery syncing all stock and nothing turned off. Not using Juice defender but I have been on wifi all day.

I think I am going to switch to this...after a few more nightlies and they get it running well with a good kernel. I flashed back to bamf 4.9 for the time being since it is a pretty stable release. Sorry about the heresy, McL, lol.
 
So what is the word with this build and an overclockable kernel? I can't seem to find much info on it--its like the build went out and everything came to a halt.

Lol. I know they're working on it. Ziggy has to pull the kernel and make sure it actually works before putting it in the build.
