Loving this ROM however I have 2 small issues. First in exchange email, there are no next and previous buttons. I have to hit the menu button then hit next or previous. When I was running stock 2.2.1 these buttons were great for quickly scanning through work email. Now I have to hit menu then next or previous.

Alos, the My Verizon app(so I can see data usage) does not appear in my app drawer or in my apps list and it doesn not give me the option to download in the market.

There are a few MyVerizon apks out there, but since their last update to the app, it no longer works on the GB ROMs for us. Not sure why, but since theyre still building GB for our phones, time will tell if it ever actually works. I dont use exchange, so Im not sure what to say on that one.

Its the MD5 file. If you read my "How To:Synergy" post, everything is explained there. If you cant find it here, go to InfectedROM Android Community Forums - Infected Main and theres a stickied post I wrote explaining everything on the initial install of the ROM.
 
Is anyone else having the issue of phone being in speaker mode when making/receiving calls? Unless there's a setting somewhere I'm not seeing to correct it, I didn't see anything in "phone"

Youre the third person thats posted about this today. Was this an all of a sudden thing? There will also be an update today that will bring better battery life and fixes to the Lagfree governor.
 
I noticed it yesterday. I don't use phone for calling all that often, so no clue if it's an "all of a sudden" issue or not.

Regarding the update, will I use the synergy updater to install that?

No. Download it from the same spot you downloaded it in the first place. I dont know why they havent removed the updater yet till its actually used...but yeah. lol.

As far as the speaker issue goes, Ive not seen it, so Im not sure really what to say on it to be honest. Then again, 90% of the time when I use my phone its on speakerphone...lol
 
Maybe Noone had the updated app which caused it. I'm glad it's fixed now as well. Now that it's fixed, Noone is gonna call me!

Edit: should I bother with the 8/30 build if there's going to be another update this weekend?
(I think that's what I read on xda)

Honestly? It depends on you. Check the repo for whats changed vs the build youre on. If you need to get your flash fix, by all means. If you want the updated market, and other fixes Ziggy did, you could make a nandroid and flash over. If you decide to do what we call dirty dirty(dirty flashing is when you dont even wipe your nose before flashing in the new ROM) remember to wipe and reflash before posting issues. From what Ive heard so far, people arent having issues with this build doing that. If there arent major changes, most times you can do this. That way you wont lose anything or have to set anything up again.
 
I hope this post receives a fast response before I screw up my TB. I have followed all the instructions on flashing a new rom over but the one I'm trying to or have flashed is the synergy rom. Now on the page to get the zip file there are like 6 files. What one do I need or how many of them do I need? I want to run on Sense 3.0 but when I flash what I believe is the right rom seeing as I only have the one it looks like the stock TB sense and everything else. Please help and thanks!

O.o there should only be one new build in the download folder for synergy. Where are you looking that you see four different ones?

New build coming shortly. The one that says stock is just the stock htc kernel. Not the full rom.

This is where I went and I took the zip file without the md5 on it. I'm restoring my backup right now until this is figured out and I know what to do from where I'm at. I thought sense 3.0 was the black and blue sense that I saw in the other thread. Anyways thanks for the help at the moment. I don't want to go thru and do all my setup and so forth just to find out that I didn't do anything but load the stock rom. :eek:
 
Uh, should it take a rather long time at least in my opinion for the white HTC screen to sit on my phone when restoring my back up?

No it shouldnt. No more than a minute really. Anything more than that and you have a problem. What recovery are you using?

Im really not sure what ROM you loaded because while certain parts look stock, Synergy is sense 3.0 and youll know its in.
 
My rooted stock recovery. Yeah I pulled the battery just now and turned the phone back on and it still sits on the HTC screen.
 
OK, I pulled the battery and booted into recovery mode no problem. What's my next step? And should this be moved to a different thread?
 
How do I get that on my phone? Do I go into recovery mode and choose usb mode? I wiped the cache. Should I do the data/factory reset and start all over again or try what you are saying?

You can either pull your sd card out of your phone or in recovery mount it as a usb drive.
