T-mobile cheaper?

Thats why/ or one reason why anyway, I stick with prepaid tmo.

hell prepay any carrier really.
I can buy a $50 tmo refill for $40 and my $30 plan takes $30 of it thats it.
 
I'm seriously considering the S4 at $80 (2GB Unlimited Plan) a month for two years with T-Mobile.

According to my LG Spirit for this year (and LG Esteem from the 12mos of last year) I rarely touch 1GB of Data on a month to month basis.

I've seen a few of you disapprove of T-Mobile's 'No Contract' contract. In what ways is it that bad?

I'm thinking of selling the Esteem and Spirit </3 and taking a swing at the S4.
 
$194 down payment for the S4..

I just wish I could know the monthly sales tax and if I'm approved for the $20 monthly BEFORE I enter my billing information.. I don't trust that, T-Mobile. I want to know everything upfront before I make that type of 2 year commitment.

I spoke with a friend, she's a T-Mobile rep, but I know she was just doing her job. Trying to get me to buy it.

Hmm, still waiting on feedback from you guys and some of my homies before I decide. Hell, I may just cop the S3 and stay with my MetroPCS.
 
in all honesty the s4 is a worlds better device, will last you far longer especially coming in the coming merger. its a phone that you could last 3+ years with and not have any big issues. samsung drops support from otas in 2 years? cm wont... sprint variant came out on saturday, they have cwm and twrp thanks to me and buddy of mine has a cm10 alpha build.

in a month the tmo one would have all the aosp roms you could ever want, gsm is worlds easier
 
i will not, as i said when sprint finally kicks me off ill be using my old busted g2 on tmobile. hoping that the next nexus doesnt suck as bad and can get it on the cheap. that is about the only way id be upgrading.

i was really hoping metro would get the s4 so i could hang out with you guys riding the wave of awesome samsung phones on metro, but its not meant to be apparently :/

I can't imagine what would have you believe there's no S4 for Metro, I sure haven't heard anything about that.

They Have actually submitted the Metro S4 to the FCC for Approval. Even if they end up using rebranded TMo units (after the merger) why would they submit their networks S4 for approval if they weren't going to get the S4 at all?

ATT is about to release their new pre paid plans and it looks like they are going to put a big dent in the pre paid market.

I buy my Straight Talk refills for $39.99. I just cant imagine spending double that for the same thing I'm already getting.

The first smartphone plan is quite competitive with T-Mobile. It offers unlimited minutes/texts and 2gb of data for $50, or 5gb for $70. The rumor has it that these are throttle plans and not hard caps with overages.

Very competitive. Too bad their HSPA+ speeds are beyond worthless in my area even though Im in excellent coverage.

True but no LTE. That's gonna be on AT&T's HSPA+ which is nowhere near as fast as TMo's HSPA+ 42. Also TMo plans get LTE where available. But of course location is the most important factor here. If I travelled alot in rural areas or lived where TMo's network isn't great I would consider AT&T's prepaid.

Yes, location is everything for these plans. In my area, there's no t-mobile LTE or hspa+42, only 21. T-Mobile's hspa is faster than AT&T's, but coverage for AT&T is obviously better. I will have an interesting situation on my hand once they release them on if giving up my 30 dollar t-mobile plan is worth it.

Luckily my house and job is in excellent T mobile coverage. Even though I work in a warehouse and I do sacrifice a little coverage inside, I would rather do that and get 20-25mbps than get 3-5mbps with ATT. I mean it's just awful in my area. Blah

But, I'm glad to see more pre paid options. This is another step ahead for carriers to stupid F'ing customers with contracts.
