T-Mobile FROYO update

Help!
Downloaded and phone rebooted and now stuck on the Pink T mobile letters screen with white background for the last ten minutes, should I pull the battery?

Anybody else noticed the tmobile fkup with their media centre app? mines Mediencentre and directs to the german tmobile site....... they have also added app sharing, mobile tv and mobil box pro for voicemail - not amused!!

Mine stayed on that screen for ages. I started thinking "Hmmmm, start-up takes much longer" :D Just leave it be, i just left it and still managed about 5 lockscreen hits to see it's progress.

It takes about 10-15 mins.

Help. Have updated and all seened fine untill I realised I can't cnnect to tmobile. Not sure how to sort this. Obviously tried a reboot. Just won't pick up network.

edit:seems it is stuck in airplane mode

any ideas how to fix this?

Edit pt2. Well, I have ended up factory resetting and this has sorted it out - just have to get the phone back to how I had it. I had to get it going quickly and so didnt have time to backup all apps ect, have to try to remember what i had - i guess if I cant then I probably dont need it.

updated this morning too. No problems except my brower (webkit 3.1) keeps craches back to the home screen on a lot of sites (this one, gizmodo, failblog), wondering about flash?

anyone else?

Yeah, just noticed all those. Think they've ****ed up a bit there. MobilBox and MedienCentre are in German.

I'd gone through settings etc first. So how do we get rid of these (except the obvious root).

No you should be fine, mine was stuck like that for a good while, I powered up the laptop to come on here to see what was what with it then it carried on as normal!

Well its the same as the orange bloatware shit - however, in applications > all they take up kbs of space and you can clean data to delete this - im using launcher pro so in the process of hiding them from my app drawer! problem solved lol.

Not to impressed by the lack of apps that you can actually move to SD - I still only have 25mb of space!! guess devs will catch up on this soon though..

Well i spent a while looking in market etc on how to move the apps to the sd card.
I've just found out how you do it.

Settings->Manage Applications->(App)->Move to SD

I just thought none of the apps could move, now i'm going through them all.

EDIT: Gone from 31MB to 59MB Free Internal Space :D

How do you remove the apps from the app drawer in LP?

I've moved all mine that I can and none of the big ones move! what apps have you moved? - Posting this using wi-fi hotspot so that works :P

The full BBC site keeps crashing and closing my browser, and watching any flash does the same. How disappointing.

Anyone else using Mail to pull down POP3 emails ? I've found that all it's now doing is a realtime synch to my POP3 server, meaning once you've deleted your mails from the server they vanish from your phones inbox !

I went onto the BBC site to try. It stuttered at first, but then played several clips just fine. I'm using the basic browser over WiFi.

How do you remove the apps from the app drawer in LP?

On any normal LP screen press menu > settings > general settings > hidden apps

Tick all the ones you want to hide, click save, restart LP and voila - clean tidy app drawer!!

On another note 2.2 install rodgers swype (confirmed on nexus one forums) so anybody using it needs to reinstall it to fix it (doing that now myself!)

Nice! Just removed all the crap T-Mobile has added. :D
