Root Talk and data simultaneously

I was wondering since the connect and admire can. Why cant we, it can't be that much to it has anyone tried it. Or does anyone know what makes those divices
 
I had a Metro employee tell me the Connect could talk and surf at the same time...his reason for it being able to do it...it was a dual core...I just laughed and said cool story bro Ahaha
 
So metro just lies when they say they can because I was set on the HDMI and large screen but they told me they could talk and data simultaneously using those exact words I still got the esteem but he got me thinking about the connect (SOOO GLAD I DIDNT AFTER SEEING HOW GREAT OUR COMMUNITY IS) But I would still like to have this on esteem. Just like metro piece of shit. And I never have needed to either but my downloads will mess up if I get a call.soooo yeaa

oh I lol every time I talk with the metro ppl at the mall lol. the ystart off talking like they know shyt, then I start talking n their eyes glaze over like a deer in headlights lol

The Galaxy Attain can do it too. My mom be on the phone, and surfing the web w/ 4G (no WiFi needed). The phone is good, but I just dislike the the screen size :/
 
the reson they can do that has to do with the radio, and chip
the chip we have in the esteem is different than the chip in the other two
 
Actually, the connect and they attain are the ones that can, due to their "sim" cards, they are called cat3 phones or category 3 phones. Anything that comes out with an uicc card smaller than the esteem's will have the advantage of talking while surfing w/o wifi

I do it all the time when my connect is in 3G....the admire cannot do it, I can do it in 4G & 3G
