3G was back up for me (central NJ) last night around 1030pm. my house doesn't get 4G, so i don't know if that was up too. as of 830am this morning I'm in NYC with full 4G service.
i emailed VZW a complaint about how disappointing this outage is, and more so how disappointing it is that we were not notified. i would expect all users to get some kind of notification beyond a twitter post that was released hours after the outage started. there was no press release or notification that i'm aware of. that is a major shortfall if you ask me.
the response i got was:
"I am sorry for the inconvenience that you have experienced with the 4G outage... I understand the need to have a working device...
At this time we do not know when the 4G outage will be resolved." (Keep in mind I received this email once I was already back up on 4G.)
and that's about it. i'm not going to press for me, because a) i'm not really that kind of person and b) i was up on 3G with the xda fix anyway, so i didn't really suffer that much. though again, it would be nice to see VZW step up and offer something to everyone, prompted or not.
