TB is Stuck on 1x since 11pm tonight in NYC

I did the xda fix to. Tests something to keep sticky to help out others when this happends again. I even did a reset on my phone before found out it was bolt related.

Same here..

I've been periodically checking it, and it flashed 3g for a split second and back to 1x.

I was hoping this was because they were working on the towers, upgrading to 4g, but no, just VZW f*ckin up..

I came so close to doing a reset! I then talked myself into reading up on rooting and just doing that since I would need to reset either way. hopped on the forum today and saw this thread, so now I can put off rooting even longer
 
I heard they took the 4G down so they can get all areas up on it so they can say they have the largest 3g and 4G coverage in the nation.

To bad it isn't April 1st :p
 
Same thing here in NY. I live in Long Island and went to work in NYC and I was getting the same result. Just 1X through all the cities I passed. Thought I was going to have to return my phone.
 
With the Droid Charge coming tomorrow and the infamous OTA in the works... I think this was planned. They probably made some changes that could only be done while the network was down... thats my grassy knoll theory!
 
Oh my god, I thought it was only me that was having this problem today! I was so frustrated, because I always play around on the Internet at work when I go on break, and I couldn't do that at all today. I restarted my phone, like, five times, today, hoping it'd fix the problem. Pretty annoying, but luckily, I'm off tomorrow, so as long as it's back up by Friday, I'll be happy.
 
I called and complained late this morning and the rep asked me if I wanted to activate my older device until the issues were resolved. I laughed and told them I didn't pay $250 for a table piece ;). Thankfully the xda fix has worked.
 
3g oldschool until we are back and running.

I had to chang the LTE switch to "CDMA auto" before doing the ##778#>send>Edit>000000>modem>select RevA>change to "enable">MENU>Commit Changes>Reboot.

Back to 3g for a while i guewss
 
I have been in 1x all day. I just tried using my phone and it had no data at all. I restarted and now 3g is working :) Syracuse, NY. Hopefully it stays that way.
