Techno challenged new Hero user

[ssteeper]

Can anybody tell me the best forum/sites for very basic stuff. E.g. what to do when I seem to have disappeared my "Internet" icon from the home screen. Been through the on-line user manuals etc. and there's nothing out there very useful.

thx

Sprint HTC Hero - Android Forums is where you can ask questions.

Also, press and hold your screen and you'll get an option to add a program. Select that and then look for your internet icon.

This is a most excellent guide for all new Hero owners.

Welcome!

I'm making a guess that, from your location, Steven was correct in assuming you use the Sprint Hero and will move your thread to that forum.

Enjoy your stay.

Do you mean your internet connection icon in the status bar, if that goes away just turn off wireless networks then back on.
