Rooted EVO, stock ROM.
I downloaded terminal emulator and was wondering what do most people use this app for?
What are some common commands that you type in?

When I open it up and I am not sure what to type in. Is there an online reference book that explains what certain command prompts will do?

any help is appreciated!

thanks...

ya know.... Ive seen a few posts about using this, but only for VERY specific things, and these specific things usually have an alternative method to achieve them i.e. splash screen, boot animations etc etc i suppose there are still a few things that dont have a GUI built for them yet, but mostly its for reeeealy intricate stuff that youll likely not ever need to do, esp if youre merely changing roms.
