Due to the large number of threads on when 2.1 will arrive for our Sprint Heroes and the complaints about them all of the threads about when 2.1 will drop for Sprint will be merged here.

If they don't their new posts will just get merged into this one anyway so it's six in one hand and a half dozen in the other. I'd rather they posted here so I don't have to merge threads but it'll happen on way or another
I'm holding off on rooting my phone for now. Mainly because I'm basically Computer illiterate. I'm better than some but worse than most so I dont want to screw anything up. Then once they root 2.1 I'll prolly do it to remove all the bloatware on the phone that I do not use.
Anyways I was talking to a Sprint rep at the store the other day and he said he thinks it's going to happen at the end of the month. Take that for what it's worth but he had been recieving coorperate emails preparing them for the updates and people coming to the store with questions, troubleshooting etc. Then again he could of just been giving me the run around to get me off the subject.
I'd like to see it released here shortly. Then again I'll be upgrading to the Supersonic most likely when released.

I had the hero before. I see it like this android is a android no matter what device we have. Except mine goes Droooooiddddd!!!! that's all. I got a discount from work for Verizon so i went for the droid, saved some money and now i'm glad i did. Also nice pic. I think your the only one here who changes the avatar pic often...i take that back Dfresh can go crazy sometimes.
