That's not a peacock!

I am tellin you guys!

Birds are angry hungry little maniacs that waaaaanna PECK OUT your tastey little eyes!

They love the taste of human FLESH
When I'm hand feeding my favorite peacock--and he is a wild animal!--he never bites me. Nor does he peck out my eyes! He just gently takes peanuts from my hand. :)

Anyway...here's an occasional visitor--he usually shows up every few months. He's a young adult.

My wee boy wanted a TV in his room so we bought him a cheapo desk and hooked up my netbook to an unused monitor for Plex and Netflix.

When his mum dropped him off yesterday and he went in to his room, it was like Christmas, he was delighted. :)

My top five of the day taken last summer at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, VA. It is a remarkable museum and a must see for any aviation buff on the East Coast. Every plane there flies, including their de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito which is the only airworthy one in the world.

That is a good guess, and only about 300 miles off! Give you a hint now that you know the general area- It's one of the top 50 biggest lakes in the US- that isn't man made. It's also one of the 10 deepest lake in the US. This picture should help (mountains)

My sister and brother in law used to live in South Tahoe, now they're in Placerville which isn't too far. Still have yet to visit them. Only time I was out there was when we drove through the northern side on US80. Was beautiful and a whole lot different weather there in April than Sonoma where we were coming from.

Can you spot the rubber duckies too?

*Raw* meatball dough from pork I got at the farmer's market (first of the season!) into meat balls! :)

Made some ricotta from goat milk as well. Going to make a simple tomato sauce and fettuccini. Peas and salad on the side, perhaps some bread as well (there's always that in the house). :)

If you don't want people showing up on your doorstep asking to sample your cooking...you should turn off Geotagging.
