I don't normally post but I want to thank you guys for putting together so many great toys for this phone. I almost wish I didn't look at the screen shots because everything looks TOO good lol. Keep up the great work!

I'm super-psyched for the new Velocity 1.1!! I'm just not sure how to prepare for it??

If you plan on downloading the full rom zip you would just flash it thru recovery. The new version *should be ok by just wiping dalvik-cache and cache

If you plan on using the OTA in the scripts you will need to be connected to wifi with the wifi sleep policy set to never, as the file is quite large and you dont want it getting stopped partway thru. The script will prompt you asking if you want to wipe data or not. (I will have md5 check technology being used so there will be no bad flash possibilities)

Either way, please ensure you have a nandroid in case the world collapses

* This has been tested but it is still possible that you would need to wipe data for a successful flash, not all people setup their phones the same

So I am excited that this can be done OTA. I am aware of the risks and have a question. If I used Titanium Backup to removed apps like email, Dsp manager, etc... will this prevent a successful OTA? I remember reading a while back that removing apps from stock after rooting could conflict with OTAs and wonder if that is true for velocity in this case?

Hooray! I'm supposed to be cramming for a test this weekend, but i'll be getting this as soon as its available :)
Everyone on the velocity team: thanks :D

Wait i saw the velocity toolkit pics and looks like "uber quadrant" is just a feature to make your quads go up? So are these scores legit or not?

It will be made available via OTA through the Velocity script and will also be available for download on Android Forums.

okay call me an idiot i'll admit to it. I'm not much of a tinkerer after i've rooted my phone, do i get the OTA from settings check for updates?

The update will come via the Velocity script within the ROM. NOT the "Check for updates" in the "Settings" menu.

So... do we choose yes or no?

If i understand correctly, you will...

1. Start velocity script
2. Navigate to the rom script options
3. Click check for rom updates.
4. Follow instructions
