they are selling for way to high on bidding. just keep refreshing and get a buy it now. I got one for 470 shipped with 1-3 day express delivery. and i have seen atleast 3 or 4 others since taht have gone for 450-550 shipped while looking for my friend one.

also look at SF craigslist. there are some on there and some are willing to ship. my buddy just got one from there for 500. my friend paid an extra 20 bucks to have it overnight and the guy already shipped it out and tracking said it will be here tomorrow.
 
Hello all soon to be former Palm Pre user...I have couple of questions do Android phones support gif text messages.:D:D.you know the funny one with audio and video,,Palm Pre does not:(:(:(......Also does anyone run epocrates on android????

Anyone who attended the conference knows darn well that phone is worth at least $450 - $500.
 
Can sprint activate these phones before the 30 day period is over???? I just got one on craigslist (overnight ship) for $500 but now Im freaking out... Do you think I'll be able to call and get it activated?

Good question!! Mine will be here tomorrow.

You've got until the 20th to go truly unlimited.
I'd just stick with the trial period until it's over.

I doubt Google provided Sprint with the names of the Google I/O attendees.
If you really wanna activate, just say you attended and you don't wanna keep the trial.

Activate me, DARN IT!!

Yes, it has the real ESPN, broadcast live (well, it's about 10 secs behind). For me, it has only been acceptable over wifi and even then not great. the Evo may be better though, especially if you have a clean 4G sig.

How did you get it to work over wifi? Are you using android, if so what phone?

vibrate is pretty strong, but the speakerphone isn't as loud as the tp2.
transtion between landscape and portrait is pretty fast. only works for certain apps though

I had no idea it didn't work wifi on Android. I wonder why. I can't think of any good reason why not. THen again, im an Android virgin.

It used to work with wifi on windows mobile, but the program was being pirated and used by people on other carriers, so they forced an update to a newer version that required you to have the phone connected to verify that you were a sprint subscriber, but it could still use the wifi to buffer the video. Then later there was another forced update which won't even let you open the program with wifi turned on. Makes it completely useless for a lot of people!

So, what happens if, someone that got a free EVO decides...F' it, I don't need the money or the hassle, I'll sell this guy my EVO, since I still have (insert whatever phone the person may currently have).

Is he still dumb then?...LOL.

Since this is the HTC EVO, that cannot be allowed!

I thought about saying the same thing.
We get until the 20th for unlimited EVERYTHING.

I'm gonna wait until then to activate it on my primary line.
 
I want to use the unlimited too but I want to have MY phone # haha so I'm going to try and call when I get it tomorrow and activate it.
