Getting it for $250 of contract would be great!!

The problem is the guy is telling other people, who got the phone at the conference, that they should sell it to him for $250, cuz they won't get any higher amount.

LOL...Does it matter what his "justifications" are? Bottom line is, if someone goes for it, that guy just got an EVO for $250 off contract. I'm not saying that what he said is a "good pitch" at all or that it'll actually work.

My point is that, if someone were to go for it and sell the phone to him for that price, he gets exactly what he wanted and the rest of us are left to be in awe of the fact that he pulled it off.

Quite honestly, you won't get what you want unless you ask for it. What does it hurt him to put it out there, really (aside from slight ridicule on the internet...heh, big deal)?

True, if he can get it for $250, he's good.

I think he really wants it, so he can re-sell it for more.
 
ROI, I saw that the Qik app for 2 way chatting won't be available until June 4th, and that its going to cost money for non-evo users. We're supposed to get it for free. At least that's what I picked up from across the net - couldn't find the links anymore though.

Thanks. I can't really give you my maximum bid since I'm sure there are others here that might be interested in the same phone. I'll give you a clue, it's no where near their asking "Buy it now" price. :)

EDIT: Btw, BB called me earlier this afternoon to schedule an appointment to give me the Evo. It's weird why I would need a specific time to get the Evo. The good news is, I'm sure to have my Evo on or before June 4.

I picked one up for $450 & next day delivery as well using this method. Won't get mind till Monday though...

That's a bummer. For 25.85 extra, I'm getting mine tomorrow at noon by USPS. The seller threw in $10 of it.

That's some true overnight.
 
Im trying to find one of them for a good price. Hopefully the ones for $600 and $700 dont sell and they drop the prices

Well from what I gather you just mention that you attended the event & would like to activate the device as you do not want the free service or just wait till the month is up & activate it then.
