Does anyone know if any stores have accessories in stock yet? I really wanted the Seidio clip, but I don't want to wait til June 3rd to order one.
 
How is the sound of headphones through the 3.5 m jack? What i want to know is volume levels. With my hero it seems like full blast isnt that strong. I can only use ultra sensitive headphones to get a high enough volume. Especially when mowing the yard. I dont know if other Hero owners have felt this way. Maybe i am going deaf at 35. haha.

My old iPhone had a louder volume. I couldnt keep it up over 75% without blowing my ears. I'm hoping the EVO can really blast through the headphone jack.

suggestions:
1. get better headphones.. the one that comes with the phone are crap!!!.. spend more than $20

2. I saw someone that found an app in the market that pushes the volume on the hero ... up .. Beware it might damage the internal speakers if you push them to high for too long. (just my concern, not fact).

I got a nice Motorola headset with mic. It made a 100% improvement in all areas of the music. Spent $20..it was on sale.

Just plugged my Grado SR60's in and fired up an MP3.

20-30% volume is more than adequate for normal listening.

Sounds pretty good too (I hadn't tried wired yet).

Been trying to answer as many questions as possible. Unless you merge it into here, I'll also make a few more posts to my thread that I started, documenting my personal experience.

Seidio accessories are rarely sold from other storefronts, and I've never seen them at a physical store. Probably stuck waiting. I'm going to delay ordering mine to make sure I want to go "naked." If you want to use a hardcase you'll need to get a different clip.

This was done in order to keep the EVO 4G subforum organized and as Trident said, this was a group decision.

Well you can make your decision. I've removed all my pictures and review from this thread as I don't want any of my unique information be combined with others. My review and pictures have been backuped in a word file.

I personally would like to keep my review in one thread. If you guys want Q&A here, i don't care. Please let me know how you want to deal with it

I have a question for all those who have their EVO:

Can you give us a full list of all the pre-installed apps? Is there a way to do that with AppBrain, automatically? I'm wondering if things like Google Goggles are pre-installed.

There's no simple way I'm afraid. It'll have to be manual.

Google Googles was not pre-installed. Any others you're curious about?

Any Google apps pre-installed at all? Like Maps?

Is there HTC Twitter integration in Contacts? Like the official Twitter app is supposed to add?

Hey guys, just asked this question in another thread, but it wasn't quite as appropriate there as it is here.

Out of the box, can you take pictures using the front-facing camera using the screen as a viewfinder? I have a fiancee who loves her self-portraits. :)
