remove voodoo with [How to] Completely Remove Voodoo Lagfix - xda-developers
u can use the uninstaller if you can get it on your sdcard with a reader/other phone but it hasnt worked for some people. personally id nuke it with adb
then you should be good to go
or maybe just rebooting your phone (that has fixed disable lagfix for me before after batt pull)
Yeah, unfortunately there's no way for me to get the uninstaller on the sdcard. I'm following the instructions adryn posted in the link but I can't get the sdcard mounted and can't adb push the files. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but every time I try to mount /sdcard thru adb it says it failed because the device or resource is busy. I'm probably just being an idiot. Gah.
Ahhh, nothing like waking up on a Saturday morning!
What should have happened:
1) See that there's a new kernel worth playing with
2) Download the sucker
3) Add disable_lagfix to the Voodoo folder
4) Reboot and listen to the robot lady
5) Flash the new kernel!
6) Get out of bed
What happened:

4) Reboot and listen to the robot lady
5) Find a fun popup that says something about the UID being different and a "I'm Feeling Lucky" button (gotta love the google devs' sense of humor)
6) Lots of things force closing, and a seemingly random list of apps are all that's on the phone. Market is not one of them, and Astro FCs
7) The Menu button does nothing
8) After a bit, the Home button does nothing
9) Grumble and get out of bed to boot the dang computer
I had a similar plan but mine went something like this:
-Steps 1-4 the same
-Then waited...waited....waited
-realized it didn't work
-booted into stock recovery
-booted into CWM recovery
-now trying adryn's instructions
-getting frustrated

lol
I'll leave a mint and a cookie on your pillow
