That car was absolutely solid. The Honda's made in Japan ran circles around the ones made here in the US.

I've still got my 2001 Honda Civic Mk 7 and will me keeping it until something expensive breaks.

My Dad's dream car. He didn't buy a Caddy for18 years later, though. I'm so old, I remember this car at the 1964-65 World's Fair.
 
The first car we had that I remember. I remember you could see the road through the floor, as it had rusted out.

When I married, my new wife had a 1961 Ford Falcon. It wasn't much car and you could see the road between your feet. It always started and I had to jump our better car a time or two in the frigid winter with it. I once had three flats at the same time with that old Ford. Fortunately, I had five spares. Her brother had the same car but totaled it and my father in law saved the tires and wheels. :)
 
Mu first car bought in 1972 - It's a 1961 Hillman Minx

My older sister's first car was a Hillman Minx about the same vintage. It wouldn't start in the harsh winter weather of Kansas so my father would fire up his torpedo space heater and aim it at the grill. In a short time that car thought it was July and start on the first try. My sister wrecked that car and my dad traded it for a trombone. The trombone made the dogs nervous so he traded it for a silver watch fob. That's my Hillman Minx story! :)

The first auto I drove was a 1936 Ford pickup. My dad was restoring it and I drove it around the block in first gear on the starter. My dad would have beat me if he knew. The first car I really drove was a 1937 Chevy Coup which was another auto my dad rebuilt. We went out into the country and he let me drive it around. I couldn't see the road over the hood so I drove on the left side so I could see the road/ditch. :)

I'm so old that my arm skin tears more easily. No joke. I ordered Retin-A from Inda (Much cheaper). The internet says that it treats just this thing.

I'll let you know. Retin-A is said to be good for this because it causes to the skin to turnover and reproduce more quickly and builds up much needed but depleted collagen.
