The madness is all most over........anything happened?

I don't plan to leave my apartment today if I can at all avoid it. I did a grocery stockup, holiday shopping is still pending (and a lot is likely to happen online), I don't NEED anything enough to venture out into the insanity.
 
so i changed the title.......for those who braved Back Friday, i'm curious on your experience. did you have anything that happened to you that you would like to share?

it seems that this year according to my friends was pretty mellow. i have not had the chance to check the news for any bad incidents yet.
 
I spoke too soon. Did have to venture forth to Radio Shack for an Ethernet coupler we needed to finally get my desktop system into service (it's been stashed since we moved, and I've been using the laptop). The very nice saleswoman said it hadn't been all that bad. OTOH, within a few miles of me is a K-Mart where some psycho jackass started threatening to stab other shoppers. I've seen news links to other bad incidents.
 
My wife talked to one person who said she was punched in the face by a middle aged man over a bluray player, and she watched some woman grab an 11 year old's hair to try and get a comforter set. People are freaking crazy. :p
 
I was one of those dumb dumbs that waited in line from 9pm - 8am for the release of the iPhone 3G. This was before Android blew up so don't say nothing!
 
I did it one year, just to experience it. I'll never do it again. Not worth the savings or items you can get.

I wanted to buy a new laptop... Saw on TV the lines of people camping out at a local Best Buy. Waited til morning (0800). Parked in front of the store was inside about 30 minutes and left with all the goodies.
I caught a lull and exploited it...
By 1000 the parking lot was full again when I passed by. Ain't going back.
TIMING IS EVERYTHING...

BAD TIMING: Niece went at Midnight, actually entered the store at 0200...
