The X for sure. But November is far away and plenty of thime for another phone to come out of nowhere and make him have to reconsider :D

Who all is going to be on motomaker first thing in the morning? I know I will be justto pplay around. Can't go get my new account with att til after work, but gonna know what I want by that time. Lol

After being my bedside clock all night (using the awesome app Dock Clock), I just pulled my Nexus out of my pocket and... no response. Nothing. Power button was completely unresponsive: she was dead.

Had to do a battery pull just to jump-start her. 97% battery remaining, so there's no telling what caused that little glitch.

But it's little stuff like this that make me convinced that she is more than ready for retirement. She's running Android 4.3 with ParanoidAndroid 3.96.

Sounds like a good excuse to get a new phone ;)

2 day delay on all Moto X orders from the AT&T early access feature that was supposed to get you the phone before release to the general public.

Quote directly from the AT&T release "design and receive their Moto X before the general public"

Just wondering if anyone can confirm that they've been able to see or touch any demo units in store yet? Seems like the stores might allow it since the launch is tomorrow, but the 2 AT&T corporate owned stores near me act like they've never heard of the phone...

Some act dumb until launch....others really have no clue. Depends on the sales person you talk to and if they have read up on their training materials on the latest phones.

he sent me a txt back with a picture. ( would post it but i am on my work computer) but they are setting it up in their store right now. so if you want to go look it is the att store on fairmont prkwy and 288 in pasadena tx.

I have been trying all morning to buy a 32 outright. Went to AT&T and they cannot sell me a card at full price and can't make a purchase on Moto Maker without one. Frustrating.

So I just went and played with Motomaker and I must be missing something. Where are all of the woodgrain backs and stuff. I get back color, front color (black or white), button color, boot and background customization, and account sync.

The woodgrain options were announced as pushed back to late 2013 the day it was announced.

Thanks, guess I missed that. I was just confused as almost all the images of it on Motorola's site are the nice backs. Doesn't really matter to me as I was just playing. I guess the AT&T exclusive isn't very good.

Yea everyone whining should be happy they will get more options and the kinks worked out from us hamsters. I ordered mine on Monday and won't get it till this Monday so much for that 4 day turnaround. There seems to be lots of issues to sort out, and I really wanted that ebony wood back. I really should talk to someone about my early adopteritis.

I went to the local AT&T reseller. They don't have the Moto X, and won't until the end of the month. Apparently, corporate stores launch the X today... retailers get it later.

Ah well...

I had similar experience with the Maxx. Pre-ordered and shipped to retailer. On release day they had three at had been pre-ordered. Four blocks away the corporate store had Mini, Ultra, and Maxx on display and you could play with them.

... Thom

Has anyone had any luck buying it outright?

So, I order mine on Monday with the email they sent out (actually paid a friend for hers, since she didn't want it...) and I will be getting my phone on Monday the 26th. So much for "early" like they stated it would be at first. I guess the early part was only for Motomaker access itself.

Jerks and their misleading statements!!
