I tried Volume+ and a few other things, but nothing really works.

I will deal with it now until you find a solution. I don't want to go back to Beast again (as awesome as it is). Not after how nice I have it all now.

@Geno, any possible way you can post a link to the DspManager.apk in the Rom? I think my issue was having Volume+ installed simultaneously ..

EDIT: that was the issue. I deleted volume + , reinstalled dspmanager and wuala! It works ;) .

Sweet. And at times of the night like this I'm just browsing tapatalk on my admire. I'm usually doing nothing dev wise as I still half live with my mother. Lol we stay right next door to each other and I'm 21. Just so y'all don't think I'm like 30 something still half under my moms roof. Lol
 
Anyone else noticed a distinct slowdown in ping times with Monster4? Fro the life of me I can't get any ping times below 200. usually up around 250-300. When I switched back to MonsterIII png returns to the usual 130-200 and dl & ul results are generally stronger also.

I ran the comparisons over thirty times just to make sure. Still it surprises me that no one else has this issue so i'm assuming that it must be something peculiar with how my system is running the Monster4 rom.
 
I have "CWM-based Recovery v5.0.2.7" and after I wiped EVERYTHING and flashed the rom, the SAMSUNG boot audio cuts out while the animation is playing and then it sits there at the SAMSUNG logo and constantly vibrates like its talking to me. I went back in and wiped everything again, twice, and it still does it. Any ideas? Was I supposed to install previous versions of Monster before this one? O.o

There shouldn't be any boot audio at all. You may have done your wipes but what about your formats?
 
I'm not entirely sure, I wiped/formatted everything I could from recovery menu: wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, wipe Dalvik Cache, and wipe battery stats. Did I miss something? O.o
 
WOOT! Thanks, mayng, worked great! I haven't even really played with this rom to much yet and I love it way more than Beast. This should hold me off until the CM7.2 rebuild :D

PS - I love how it looks a LOT like ICS, great job :D

PPS - How do I get rid of this damned SWYPE keyboard, I like the Android keyboard better >.<

Yes you did. After you wipe data, cache and dalvik, navigate to mounts and storage, there should be the option to FORMAT the system, data, and cache. FORMAT ONLY those three after you performed your wipes.
 
Just kidding, I went into the applications and forced it to stop and now I have my keyboard back :)

The phone is showing "Metro PCS" in some places. Is it possible to get rid of that or even change it to Ntelos? If not, I guess I can deal with it, lol
 
Fixed the poor ping times and dl ul speed problems. I must have had a corrupt file, rewiped and formatted all then did a reinstall and everything working fine now.

also just installed a 32gb sd card and finally got the process down right where all comes back like it was. this was a big concern because when I went from 2gb to 8 I lost most apps and links. This time I used xxcopy and the entire process works like a charm so anyone worried about losing data when upgrading I suggest using xxcopy its free and just follow directions.
 
I don't think anyone else realizes it or is seeing it but can some one check the charging battery indicator I don't think it's working the the theme update I'm not home so I can't double check but I will

Its a bug with the theme update. Paris is on it now. Talking about the USB charging bug?
