Luna, same here about the clubs. Neither of us drink, but some sodas and popcorn and a good movie sound good. Off to go look for and inexpensive yet good restaurant. My knowledge is limited to the kid friendly places.

Most of the inns and taverns around here have surprisingly good, inexpensive food. No one said you need to drink.

Here in DC, picknicking on the Nat'l Mall at night is nice. Certainly not this time of year though.

I agree... My bf and I are 17 years difference.
Anyway, around here we have bars (no food except bar pies and mozzarella sticks), chains and hole in the walls. I need to call a few friends and get recommendations.

I'm not a skier, but a couple we know have a house in the Poconos and sometimes we'd go to the ski resort nearby and sit in the cafe there and watch the skiers
