The Tablet Tavern

It was in Japan, and I was with my host family :D I would like to ride more, but here those things are sort of a thing for the rich and snobby :P

The same could be said here. Ocala Florida is just south of me and is big on horses. It brings in a lot of money there...

The nicest Homes and businesses I did service calls at for ADT were those at horse farms. It is something when a stable is nicer than some homes I have seen. They also spent a lot of their equipment too. Camera systems and access control for a house?! LOL

I kept waking up in the middle of the night, and every time i went back to sleep, i dreamed of my job hunting. those were depressing dreams :(

i'm sorry for getting everyone down with my negativity :(

No biggie, we're here to cheer you up..

..or is it to annoy you?? I get those mixed up lol........

Huge show jumping area. My jumping is too ugly to do Hunter. I'm more of an eventer if you had to put me into a category

My coach in my brief college stint said I had potential for jumping but then I dropped out and had to leave the team.

*drool*
I don't even care about pedigree. I just love horses in general.

I didn't pay for him but he has nice confirmation. Last time I went to see him I didn't have my contacts in and with lots of bay horses around I couldn't tell who he was from a distance. He saw me and kicked his water bucket to get my attention. Then when I got close he kissed me on the forehead. He's French it's ok

I like to see horses. Riding them is not for me though.. If I am going to ride it, it will have a throttle and handlebars or a steering wheel....

But that's what makes horses fun. The trust you build with your horse. My horse in Afghanistan saved my life several times and ultimately she paid the price for it.

Oddly enough in Korea the highest decorated woman Marine was a horse.

Sounds like an interesting story.

I think it's that way with many other animals as well. They can give their owners the unconditional love that they can't get with other human beings.

Why can't people settle on one avatar and stick with it? When I'm scanning through forums it's often the avatars I recognise, rather than reading usernames. I tend to think your avatar is your trademark, it's what people might recognise.

Also what's with this abbreviating avatar to "avi" about? I think avatar is a great word, especially when I look out of the bedroom window and see "INTERNET AVATAR CLUB" flashing in bright red LED letters across the street.

As far as my avatar is concerned: I stick with things having to do with the undead.

Mine is Usually either a real pic of me or a rendering of me (cartoon, drawing, etc). I spent so much time hating myself and running from myself. Now that I am learning to accept myself, I can be me, online and off :)
