The Tablet Tavern

Making some bread this morning. Mostly whole grain sourdough with sesame, sunflower and pumpkin seeds. :D
Will provide pics later when it's done.

And, gotta say, I love the 4.4 wallpapers. Well done Goog. ;)
 
Maybe I should point out the Food and Beverage section here in AF to you Wynd, since you're the one who keeps bringing up the subject?
Maybe you chose the wrong education and profession, and you should be a cook? :D

For one thing, I am a stress eater. Food also makes me feel good.
 
Bread dough is looking really good. Only problem I'm having is the apartment is a little cool so I turn the oven on for a few secs and keep the dough in there. Bout to final shape it and going to coat the top with sesame seeds. :)
 
Just got back from lunch with a good friend. We sat at the back of my Cherokee and munched on pizza and pepperoni rolls from Five Star :)

Sounds like a good lunch to me.
And it makes me miss my Cherokee. Loved that thing. It was old, had no air and no cup holders but it was manual and a beast in the winter.
 
Thanks! Dough was banging (my term for quickly proofing) so it's in the oven now. Just need to get it out of the pot earlier and not burn the bottom like my last loaf.

It was a good lunch, Five Star is the best inexpensive pizza around here. The pepperoni rolls are awesome, not the most healthy thing to be eating though. :D

Mine doesn't have cup holders either. They didn't have them until 97 and mine is a 96, and it still runs great :)
 
Headed to a new place on 14th St not far from here. It's absolutely boomtown around there with restaurants. Hoping waits won't be insane, but pretty sure they will be. :o
