The Tablet Tavern

Hiya all :)

I am amazed at the battery life I get out of my tablet. It's stated at 10 hours multimedia which translates to like 4 days or so average use for me. :)
 
*sigh* Time for me to buy new health care coverage. My coverage under COBRA is up at the end of the year (18 months went by all too quick). On the brighter side I may actually save money and maintain or have better coverage than I have now.

Best of luck! I had fine coverage with my last job. Don't have the option now so jumped on with my wife's plan. Only time I've used it thus far I found prescriptions to be considerably cheaper, so I'm happy.
Need to get to a dentist soon though.... ;)

So far so good. I have Blue Cross Blue shield of AL PPO plan continued on the company plan through TYCO (ADT's parent company) under COBRA

I just did a quote for Florida Blue (BCBS of FL) and my deductible will be a bit higher at 850 vs the 500 I have now, but out of pocket limit is lower at half of what I have now. coverage for this new plan is 90/10, and my current plan is only 80/20 so I am better off there too. Regular doctor visits are less too.

I 'm getting ready to go to my appointment at the prosthetic place for a check to see how it is doing. Also to get a second suction sleeve for it.
 
I am back from the prosthetic place. Went there for a tune up and alignment, and ending up needing a rebuild. So am going back next Friday. At least it is a warranty thing.
 
It might snow Sunday as well.

I actually don't mind going there. Darhlene is pretty cool to work with. My foot was sounding like i was walking on a creaky floor, but only as I was to the point of transitioning off that foot to my other foot. It had her and her colleagues puzzled for a bit, as the foot was looking fine to them and it was working okay. They had to do several tests with me walking before they narrowed it down to the foot part itself. So I'll be getting a new one, and will give the old one back.

It is kinda funny to think that I have a warranty on my foot LOL...
 
I just finished doing my Christmas wish list that my family all does. Every year I always ask for something that I know I won't get, but I put that one in just for fun. This year it is a 2014 Jeep Wrangler 4 Door with hard top or a Cherokee, and I promise to let them ride in it, if they get it for me LOL.. :D
